Educational Podcast (English)
The podcast series "Sabine Daniel Presents: The Incredible History of African Canadians" highlights the story of outstanding achievement:
- by Singer Portia White, first black Canadian singer who reached international fame.
- by the first black hockey player in the National League.
- by Art Dorrington and Thornton and Lucie Blackburn, anti-slavery entrepreneurs who created one of the first taxi companies in Montreal.
The mission of the podcast series is to offer turnkey educational tools related to the provincial curriculum (Canadian History, Social Sciences and Entrepreneurship courses). Each podcast is equipped with a digital pedagogical sheet to use in the classroom on the exceptional contribution of Black people to Canada.
If you would like to book Sabine Daniel for an interactive activity in your school, please email press@sabinedaniel.com.
